in their efforts to create and help clients gain employment! WALKING AROUND the BLOCK
AND THE WORLD – The Health Ministry Board is continuing a Walking
Program this summer called “Where in the world were you?” A world map is posted in the narthex and
tags are available to mark your travels.
Be sure to add your name to a tag and pin it to where you have
been. On Sunday, September 30 we'll
take a look at all of the places in the world that OSLC members have
walked. If you have questions, please
call Bruce Cruz (847-255-3408). Pastor RIPPERT is on call this
week. Pastor Heidtke
continues her six week sabbatical and will return August 12. A NEW HOSPITAL VISITATION MINISTRY to support our
Pastor Staff has been started with our Stephen Ministers. To help in this new ministry, please let
the office know when you will be in the hospital. INTERESTED IN THE CALL
PROCESS FOR THE NEW SENIOR PASTOR? Check the chart in
the Narthex for updates. PASTORAL CARE AND CONCERN - If you, or someone
in your family, need a hospital visit from a pastor, please contact Our
Saviour’s at 847-255-8700 and the Pastor On Call will be notified right
away. After hours the Pastor On Call
is carrying a pager to aid us in responding to needs. When you call the 847-255-8700 phone number
and leave a message on the “Pastor On Call” voice mail, ext. 300, the pager
is automatically called. MEET
YOUR CHURCH COUNCIL! A member of the church council is available after
EVERY worship service to talk with any person who has a question, concern or
idea regarding the programs or mission of the church. Council members are stationed in the S.
Narthex near the American flag and visitor sign-in book. You can identify them by their name

THIS WEEKEND: WE WELCOME ALL VISITORS IN CHRIST’S
NAME. We invite you to join us for coffee in the
South Narthex after worship. Please sign the red Guest Register
Book located in the Narthex and the “Presence” sheets as they are passed
during the offering collection. All are invited to commune who are baptized into
Christ and wish to share in his death and resurrection by receiving the
thanksgiving bread and cup. Any may
come forward for a blessing. White grape juice is available upon request to a
communion assistant. Follow usher’s
directions. The Altar Flowers this weekend are given by Dan and Cheryl Boncher in celebration of Christine's
college graduation and in celebration of their wedding anniversary; Edna and
Bob Furreboe in celebration of their 41st wedding anniversary' Dave

in worship! Please help your child

You are invited to pick
up a children’s bulletin that is appropriate to the age of your child. ·
The Quiet Room, behind
the glass, is available for our youngest worshipers who may get too excited
or too tired and need some personalized attention. Nursery is provided during
the 9:00 and 10:30 am worship times for children from birth until they enroll
in Sunday Church School. SUMMER
SUNDAY SCHOOL is offered at 10:30 am for
children who have completed 3-year old preschool through fifth grade. |
