By the power of God's love, we:

Welcome all people into a life-giving relationship with Jesus Christ and one another. Grow together in faith and understanding of God's grace. Equip each other to Make Christ Known in the world.

Our Vision is to be a loving community where all
people discover and grow an active faith in Jesus Christ that changes lives in the world.

What's New at Our Saviour's:

Here is a brief update of the February 19th 10:00 am Congregational meeting:

• Minutes of the annual congregational meeting in 2011 were approved.

• The Congregation approved the ongoing leases at 1213, 1217, 1221 and 1237 N. Dunton Avenue.

• Reports from the staff, officers and Ministry Areas of the church were received and approved.

• President Timm highlighted two sections of his report as significant in the life of the congregation this past year:

-The decisions on the Same-Gender Resolutions and the hiring of Louis Smith in Contemporary Worship.

-Pastor Dan spoke briefly on our ongoing work with LSSI regarding housing for autistic adults and the visioning process before us as a congregation.

• Four persons were elected to two-year term on church council: Shirley Garrison, Walter Grandberry, Doug Harrison, and Kirstin Larson.

• The Nomination Committee recommended the one-year vacancy left by the resignation of Tami Haukedaul be filled by council appointment. There were no objections or nominations from the floor on this.

• Outgoing Council members Julia Piontek, Tami Haukedahl, and Dave Timm were thanked for their service on the council; Dave was additionally thanked for his steadfast leadership as president of the Congregation this past year.

• The congregation elected four voting members to attend and participate in the June 1-2 Metropolitan Synod Assembly: Susan Erickson, Carol Guidera, Roger Mattson and Tom Vincent.

• An operating budget of $1,462,500 was presented and approved for 2012. Several other budgets for special funds were approved, too.

• Pastor Heidtke highlighted the work of our Stephen Ministers and each Stephen Minister contributed a thought regarding their ministry, encouraging the congregation to make use of this valuable resource in our congregation.
